With special thanks to two of our lovely followers, we can confirm that the Cadent gasworks are nothing to do with the Peak Cluster proposals.
However, we can also confirm that somebody did say they were connected as a joke. As you can imagine, this was probably slightly misguided given the level of concern in the surrounding areas regarding the Peak Cluster proposals.
No harm was intended and it was simply meant as a bit of banter.
But it just goes to show, firstly, how vigilant people are, and secondly, how lovely and supportive people are of this campaign. The fact that people take the time to double-check things for us really does mean a lot, and we genuinely appreciate it.
